Farmington Canyon:
Before Eric and I even took this drive up Farmington Canyon, I had expressed my wishes to get as many photos as possible this Fall season. Part of the reason for doing so is related to a lag in photo shoots lately, but another part of the reason is because I didn’t really get to experience the previous two Falls with as much leisure as I have been able to enjoy this Fall season. We have done every Fall activity you can possibly imagine. We decorated our room for Halloween (yes, I know, we’re cheesy), we carved pumpkins, we baked pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bread, we went to a local pumpkin patch. These are just a few of the things we have been keeping ourselves occupied with, but it always amazes me how sometimes you get the best photos from the simple things. On the morning we drove up this canyon, the lighting wasn’t particularly great and neither were the colors. Everything looked brown and mustard yellow. But even so, it’s possible to evoke the feeling of Fall in your photos. You just have to search harder…
