I took a photo of another old gadget today. This is an old military TV that I picked up for $5 at a thrift store a few years ago.
I find it interesting that despite this gadget having much more advanced technology than yesterday’s gadget(a typewriter) this gadget is no longer useful while yesterdays still is.
There is no digital receiver in this TV and digital signals are the only kind currently being broadcast, making it unusable.
The typewriter, however, still fulfills the need it was created fill just was well as it did the day it was made.
